Ms Crehan's Senior Infants tickled their tastebuds with lots of fruits. We discovered that kiwis have a rough skin and melons have a smooth one. Lemons are bitter and pineapples and mangoes are sweet.
We conducted an experiment with a vegetable (celery) that showed us how plants absorb water. We saw the different colours of the food colouring travelling up the celery stalk!
We may become food scientists when we are older. We love our healthy fruit and vegetables.
