Well done to the 38 girls who received Certificates of Achievement in Nature Photography. We received some wonderful photos of interesting subjects including ducks, swans, flowers, trees, skies, lakes, leaves and squirrels all taken in settings within a short distance of our school. It goes to show how lucky we are to have so many green areas in our locality, whether it's Poppintree Park, Albert College Park, The Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin Cemetery, the River Tolka, the Royal Canal...
The choice was tough, but in the end we had to pick some winners, so congratulations to Julia from Mr Walsh's 4th class who won a camera for her photograph of a squirrel on a mossy wall in DCU.
Also deserving of special mention were Ruby (Ms Conroy's 2nd class), Sienna and Kyia (Ms Hopkins' 3rd class),Taylor (Ms Mulvey's 4th class) and Lucy (Ms Nelis' 5th class) who won Eason vouchers.
